primordial man (paleolitikum)

By: Andryanus

Okay.. So here I am again. I will tell you about how primordial man lived in 3 eras. The eras are Paleolitikum Mesolitikum and Neolitikum. this week I will tell how primordial man lived in Paleolitikum era. In Paleolitikum era, the primodial man lives nomadic. They move from other place to the other place.
Why they live like this???. Because they have to survive . to get more supplies of  food. They live near water flow, in a cave, or on the tree.

They live in a group.. why?? because they have to hunt to eat. it's more easier to do it in a group. so they can help each other.
They use stone, wood, and animal bone to make hunting equipment. And they use this hunting equipment to keep them self  from any danger.
What about their clothes?? the clothes are made of from their hide (animal skin). And in this era they can use fire to cook, not only to cook but to warmed up their body and to afraid the animals.

Pimordial man in Palielitikum
I can't imagine if i were in this era.. can i survive?? LOL :D.
but one thing thati got from this post, that if you want to live you have to do something. such as work, get something to eat and etc. if we don't do anything we can't survive wherever we are.

The next post will be How Primodial man lives in Mesolitikum era.

Racism In Africa

By: Andryanus

Nelson Mandela

What do you think when you see this man picture?????

This week topic is about social life when there was racism in South Africa. They catagorized people by their skin color, the black and the white. The white class was the high class people, rich people. And the black one is lower class people, poor people.
The white people wasn’t allowed to play with the black one. Why ?????. Because it’s forbidden that time.  They had different status. Most of black skin people are  slave. That time the white skin people always tortured them.

That means the can play only with their same color. They called this incident “Apartheid”.
Apartheid means separateness.

From this history, I don’t know why they categorized people by their skin is it wrong to have skin like that??? :/ . We have the Human Right. We’re same. Especially in GOD eyes. So my suggestion is… treat people like you treat yourself. Like that people will treat you better. :D

Social Life in Ancient Egypt

By : Silfiani

Feeincaproject.weebly.com

The Egyptian’s social life is structured lika a pyramid. On the top is the Gods. The Egytian believe in their Gods and they should always make the Gods happy. After the Gods, they also believe in Gods in human form. They believe that their leaders are the Gods in human form called pharaohs. They are really respectful with their leaders. After their leaders pass away, they will build a huge pyramid stone as their graveyard. After the pharaohs, they have chief minister as the pharaohs’ supervisor. There are also the nobles and priests who are responsible to please the Gods. And the soldiers who are responsible for fighting. And the last, at the bottom of the pyramid there are slaves and farmers, the slavers are those who captured and becomethe prisoners of the war.

About 5000 years ago, the language the Egyptian use is in pictographic form written language they still use pictographic until 400 AD they change to Greek alphabet but with some additions., that form is called Coptic by the Egyptian. And eventually the language change into Arabic, the language that be used in Egypt until today. The Coptic are so hard to be understood, most of the Egyptian can’t understand it and they think it is kind of magic spell but in 1799, one of the Egyptian discover the key to read the Coptic. But until today, the Egyptian are mostly use Arabic.

The Ancient Egypt’s social life are based on the ancient civilizations. They are really strict with equality. Both men and woman can participate in the politic, economic and other aspect. Because in the ancient Egypt methology, both the God and Goddess have the important role. Some of the God and Goddess are Shu, the God of air, Tefnut, Goddess of moisture, Atum, God of sun, Nut, sky Goddess and many others.

Remembrance Day Tradition

By : Silfiani

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembrance_Day

Remembrance Day also well known as Poppy Day.
It's an annual tradition to remember the heroes that died at the World War 1.
It's celebrated on November 11th.
There will be one or two minutes silence to appreciate the heroes..
It usually before 11:00 A.M.
Many countries celebrated the Remembrance Day like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Australia, Hongkong, Airland, Italy, and others.

In Canada, Remembrance Day is a public holiday. The Governor General of Canada, the prime minister, and Royal Family will attend the celebration. At the last time, in Canada the Remembrance Day was known as The Armistice Day. The Remembrance Day celebration will be held at the National War Memorial in Ottawa. Until now, they also have a program called Canada Remembers for the young generations that never known war in order to they can appreciate those who had tried so hard and had helped Canada in the war era.

In United Kingdom, Remembrance Day is not national holiday. They will celebrate the Remembrance Day on Sunday nearest to November 11th. They will have the ceremony that attended by the British Royal Family. After the celebration, they also will have parade of veterans and the Royal Family will give a salute.

In Indonesia, we have a flag ceremony every Monday. In the ceremony there is a part called 'Mengheningkan Cipta' after we sing our national anthem. 'Mengheningkan Cipta' is a part of the ceremony where we have to bow our heads and say the prayer for those heroes who had passed away. It is another way to appreciate the merit of the heroes. We must feel thankful to those heroes that we do not need to fight in the war like them.

We should remember those heroes who had suffered or passed away..

Las Fallas Festival

By: Andryanus

www.theguardian.com

From the picture above, there is a unique festival. They called this
"Las Fallas Festival". This festival held in commemoration of Saint Joseph  in the city of Valencia, in Spain. They burn the more
than 300 Ninots (the doll) as an evolution pagan rituals that celebrated the onset of spring and the planting season.

This festival is always held on.  15-19 in march. Valencia is given over to a carnival of bonfires, fiesta, fireworks and a healthy dose of satire known as Las Fallas, the fires.

www.lonelyplanet.com

This is a great festival. I hope that I can come to this festival. But I don’t really agree when they use fire to burn the ninots. What happen if the fire is out of control?? It can burn everything, break the properties, and hurt people near it. But it’s okay since you have preapared everything.
